Human sacrifices are
no longer needed in religion this 20th century. Before, there are human
sacrifices to please God. They believe in war-God. It is during the
civilization of the Aztecs which human sacrifices began and their religion is
barbarous at that time.
More than fifteen
thousand enemy prisoners died because of human sacrifices and this is the
largest human sacrifices ceremonies they done. During ceremonial, one by one,
the enemy prisoners are killed by cutting the chests and taking their heart to
offer to a war-God. After that, people
would eat human flesh in ritual while celebrating the feasts. It portrays that
time that they are carnivorous. All this ceremonial took place in capital city
of Tenochtitlan. It is built on island surrounded by lake. The belief system
about the concept of God changed when Spanish conquered the land. Now, the
present-day is Mexico.
There are many
reasons why some other countries conquer the land. It is either they want
natural resources or they want to spread religion. There some part of the
history who do human sacrifices because of belief about God in past. Still,
there are advantages even though conquering the land is not quite good. It is a
big help for a country to change society and to change beliefs about the
concept of God by conquering the land with the help of those people in other
countries.
