Depress, angst,
confusion and any negative emotion felt by a human is reflecting to the lyrics
written by the composer. It is music for some people especially to those people
who are fans of Goths. A gothic music, which all symbolizes darkness and some,
leads to religious and supernatural. It is music, which often uses hard
keyboard. Some people who love gothic music share same negative energy feeling
from gothic bands and this reflects the spirit and soul they had.
It is not only
music, but the ways they dress up reflect their inner soul too. Goths wear
clothes, which is black. Some female wears black eyeliner, black lipstick and
anything that is black. Some male Goth also wears all black. Extreme male Goth
even wears black lipstick and even their face is covered with white that makes
them look like a vampire.
There is saying
about Birds of a feather flock together which applies to same people who love
gothic music. The lyrics are dark and depressing also felt by some people that
have passion for gothic music. Gothic music has also many variety of music like
gothic neon-classic, Goth industrial, Goth metal and so on. This music would
never exist if not in late 70’s. It is not yet labeled as Gothic from past and
it is called gothic music as days go by.
Gothic music mostly
reflects to the lifestyle of Goths. They think about death. They have different
view to the world they see. They perceive the world that is full of evil. Some
Goths are extreme skeptics who ask many questions about the world that people
live in.
They also have
passion in watching horror movies and some Goths are interested in romanticism.
They are the only one who sees the beauty of darkness. Another thing about Goth
is not all of them believe and worship Satan like what non-gothic people see
them. Some people see Goths as evil and satanic. Some people see them as normal
human being like us.
